April 20th, 2019 saw the next milestone in our collaboration with Starbucks Malaysia in conjunction with International Earth Day - the officiation ceremony and celebration via a series of eco-themed workshops ranging from soapmaking from used cooking oil, harvesting and farming, organic pesto cooking, and pouch processing - even packed lunchboxes prepared by our VTOC culinary students using ingredients from our farm harvest and recycled collaterals as packaging. Bringing together over 200 people including Starbucks staff, partners and customers, and YWCA Communities such as Desa Mentari Ladie's Craft and VTOC Students, we are heartwarmed by seeing the potential of what united communities and combined skills can achieve in creating a better tomorrow.
