Design For Empowerment: A Conversation

On 11th October 2019, YWCA KL was invited by Think City to share about our creative programs in the social work field in conjunction with the KUL Design Month. Other speakers included eminent female architects Eleena Jamil and Sofia Castelo. The session opened with sharings from all three architects about their experiences and thoughts as females in the application of design, and ended with a moderated discussion and questions from the floor. We had a blast connecting with other females doing important work and learning more about the impact they are having on their communities. Thanks to those who joined in for their thought-provoking questions and good company!
