3 July 2019: July opened with yet another successful event collaboration with the Y Cafe and this time, the dynamic duo Juwita Suwito and Gina Yap, the founders of travelog Songs & Stories. The singer and writer explore places within Malaysia which are off the beaten track for inspiring stories of people and culture, record and share them via videos. The event comprised a screening of their Sandakan adventure which featured a visit to the sunbear conservatorium in Sandakan, a thought-provoking discussion after about the ethics of keeping wildlife as pets, and a warm meal of homemade craft burgers and pizzas were prepared by the Cafe team.
