YWCA KL

The Rogue Festival is call for youth to pick up arms towards conscious service which demonstrates the power of the people, the possibilities of creativity and social enterprise towards reimagining environment and empowering communities.

The festival is also a showcase of the 2019 social enterprise efforts at the YWCA KL which include an entrepreneurship curriculum for vocational students and various other projects launched. To highlight just a few of the many opportunities provided on the curriculum, a social enterprise bazaar, a sample of workshops and live demo sessions have been developed to share with the public. This is in an effort to not only share knowledge and showcase the skills of just a few of the volunteers in which the vocational students have learnt from but to potentially light the fire and empower the everyday man or woman on the possibilities of creativity and social enterprise as we have the students.

The festival is a culmination of a creative campaign for volunteerism and social work, and live filming of a campaign music video will take place during the festival itself at different locations of the grounds. There will also be makeover studios and Instagram booths which members of the public may partake in and may appear in the music video.
